A bit of slightly disappointing news as it has been announced that Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game will be delayed. It’s not a massive delay thankfully, as the game will now launch 2 weeks after it’s original July 2nd launch date. There’s a bit of silver lining as well. Alongside the delay we now know that anyone who pre-orders the game will now be apart of the closed beta from July 2nd – 5th.

The beta will also be available for console users, unlike the last 2 which were PC only. This is good news as people who got to try the game spoke very highly of it. Now that a wider audience gets to reach it before launch, as well as test how things run on console, the slight delay isn’t too bad. Also worth noting is that the beta will also have crossplay support.
There’s also a bit more news as well. It’s also been announced that Avatar Kyoshi’s gameplay will be revealed on the 4th of June with Maximilian Dood being featured in the showcase.

Kyoshi is possibly my most anticipated character personally as given her massive stature and nature as an earth bender, she could be the games tank or grappler type.
Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game will now launch on July 23rd, 2026 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series platforms. Pre-orders are now available on PC with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S pre-orders opening soon. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is also in development.
