We got a brief new look at the upcoming Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered at PlayStation’s State of Play earlier today, but more importantly, we got a new release date!
Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition: Remastered is releasing across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on October 1st, 2026.
Check out the new Overview trailer below.
The trailer went over some of the new elements being added for this remaster of the 1 vs 1000 action staple, including the ability to call horses to you, a new Weapon Fusion system to forge your ultimate weapon, and the addition of the Wu Legend Side Story, Battle of Wuzhang Plains.
Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition: Remastered promises to be the best version of both Dynasty Warriors 3 and Dynasty Warriors 3: Xtreme Legends, and will include various other modes alongside the usual Musou and Free Modes, including Challenge, Versus, and co-op splitscreen.

The game was originally announced to be released in March 2026, but was delayed so that the team could “further improve the quality of the game”, leaving Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition: Remastered as TBA, until now.
Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition: Remastered is releasing this October 1st on PC, PlayStation 5, and XBOX Series X/S.
