Isometric Adventure Game Twins Of Olus Makes Its Showcase Debut

The Six One Indie team is back with another packed showcase, highlighting even more exciting-looking indie games from around the world. One such title that caught our eyes was Twins of Olus, an isometric adventure with two protagonists that can be played solo or in co-op.

Making its showcase debut, check out the demo trailer for Twin of Olus that was included in the Six One Indie Showcase for May 2026 below:

Developed by the three-person indie studio Team Verdant, Twins of Olus is an isometric adventure game that takes place on an alien planet 18 years after an invasion that led to the subjugation and corruption of its inhabitants and wildlife. You play as two characters, Lions, an orphaned Uthran native with a big sword, and his spectral partner Creo, who have emerged from hiding to fight back against this evil force and maybe uncover its motives.

Twin of Olus Key Features:

  • Swap seamlessly between both characters in solo, or play with a friend in local co-op
  • Travel across a beautiful alien world, and discover alternative paths based on the time of day.
  • Dash, launch, and jolt at high velocity to cover vast distances, and activate spectral bridges to reach places long forgotten.
  • Recruit powerful creatures to aid you in combat, and gather materials to improve their skills.
  • Encounter strange and suspicious characters: are they friend or foe?

A demo for Twins of Olus is available to try out right now on PC via Steam, with the developers recently updating it to allow the entire game’s prologue to be played in co-op as well as single player.

Other than Hazelight Studios, it’s hard to think of many developers putting out 2-player co-op experiences, so it’s nice to see a few of them cropping up across various genres. May the trend continue and gather steam, and we look forward to seeing more of Twins of Olus in the future.

Twins of Olus is planned to launch on PC, with no release date confirmed as of yet.
