The final character for season 3 of Street Fighter 6 had her gameplay shown today. Capcom is really leaning into her being the most powerful character in the lore, as her gameplay looks like nothing ever seen in a Street Fighter game.
The gameplay trailer for Ingrid can be viewed below.
Ingrid looks to be a zoner/set play character, but it’s hard to tell which she’ll be more of. It also looks like she’ll be a powerful counter-zoner as she has moves that absorb and reflect projectiles, as well as being able to teleport against them on reaction. These teleports seem tied to her own fireball as she teleports to a position she sets them in, then attacks.
It appears she can set mines that detonate large lasers at her command. Perhaps what looked the most interesting on Ingrid is her level 2, which, instead of doing direct damage or being an install, it looks like a delayed attack that rains down meteors after a certain time. This allows Ingrid to set up who knows what in between.

Ingrid certainly looks interesting to say the least, and she’s following a trend since Elena dropped, where each character looks to not play the traditional game of a lot of characters do in Street Fighter 6. Ingrid will mark the end of season 3 for Street Fighter 6, and although I do have some qualms about the game’s gameplay ATM, I’ll say that since Elena, the DLC roster from Capcom has largely been done well. If Capcom’s usual trends continue, we’ll see the season 4 cast revealed in early June at SGF, and we’ll see which of the many leaks surrounding the S4 lineup are true.

There’s no official date for Ingrid’s launch yet, but late spring is expected. This likely means a late May arrival after Combo Breaker ends, or very early in June.
