Earlier today Xbox announced that new features would be coming to Xbox insiders starting today, including the new boot up experience that Xbox CEO Asha Sharma teased over on X last week. Other changes such as new filtering for your game library is also here, as well as more updates to the achievement system.
New Game Library Filtering

New filters now will show which games you own vs what’s available to you overall, as well as showing you anything you currently have installed that you no longer have access to. This should help users that have changed Gamepass tiers what is still playable with their new tier and what isn’t.
Gamerscore Badges
The big highlight of the update outside of the new boot up experience, badges will now be shown on your profile when you hit certain gamerscore thresholds. These badges start out simple, and will actively evolve on your profile as you hit new tiers. Currently no one has hit the ten million gamerscore mark so there’s no badge for it, but leaving the door open to making new badges for higher scores gives users a reason to keep climbing higher on the leaderboards.
This will be the 2nd month in a row where updates to the gamerscore and achievement system sees refinements. Last month users were presented with new achievement animations, as well as a dark border around games that had one hundred percent of the achievements unlocked.

While these are small changes overall for the Xbox brand, this is the first time Xbox console users are starting to feel heard in a long time. Asha has reiterated that they are actively listening to feedback to help improve the console players experience, and all these changes are helping with that. This update should start rolling out to insiders today, and will launch for everyone later on down the line.
