The Caribou Trail is a short WWI adventure game about a regiment from Canada’s Newfoundland in the battle against the Turkish at Gallipoli. Many of the game’s achievements are straightforward during this linear experience, but they are nearly all missable at various points of the game. In this guide, we will show you where to unlock the missable Trench Foot achievement/trophy for stepping into the latrines.

Trench Foot Achievement Guide
This is unlockable relatively early in the game. After you have completed the section with Gordon and Lonnie, where you’re sent to No Man’s Land, you will return to the regiment beach camp. Fortunately, if you miss the chance to unlock the achievement, you can reach the location to unlock it within around 20 minutes of a new game.
When you regain control of Fisher, you’ll want to head up the hill past the entrance to the trenches:
Follow the sign up the hill all the way to the latrines:
Once atop the hill, you want to walk into the human faeces water behind the logs to complete the achievement requirements:
And with that, your achievement/trophy will unlock. Congratulations! If you didn’t know what latrines were, now you do. I doubt you’ll be stepping in any yourself anytime soon.
