The Caribou Trail is a short WWI adventure game about a regiment from Canada’s Newfoundland in the battle against the Turkish at Gallipoli. Many of the game’s achievements are straightforward during this linear experience, but they are nearly all missable at various points of the game. In this guide, we will show you where to unlock the highly missable Chasing Rats achievement for shooting the rat in the firing range. There is no chapter select in this game; if you miss the chance to unlock the achievement, you will need to replay the game till this point.

Chasing Rats Achievement Guide
This achievement/trophy is very straightforward, but there is only one time in the game where you can unlock it. Although there are multiple instances where you enter the firing range, the rat will only be there once.
The opportunity for this takes place around halfway through the game, after you take out the sniper atop the hill.
Once back in the trenches, it will be pouring with rain, and you will need to head to the gun range. If you’re unsure where to head, go to Weapon training in the top centre:
Once here, you’ll immediately see the rat on the floor in the gun range:
Pick up your rifle and give the unfortunate rodent an early grave:
And with that, your achievement/trophy will unlock. Congratulations! I guess we’ve done worse things for achievements, right?
