Lies of P Sequel Now Fully In Production

During their quarterly earnings call on May 11th, 2026, publisher Neowiz announced that the sequel to their well-received 2023 Soulslike has now entered full development. This is the first official confirmation from Round8 Studio and Neowiz that work has begun on the sequel.

Announced back in 2024 at the same time as the excellent DLC expansion Overture was announced, players have eagerly been awaiting news on when they would be able to jump back into the world of Krat.

Based off of The Adventures of Pinocchio, Lies of P sees you playing as the titular puppet named P, as you work to stop the spread of the puppet frenzy and save your creator, Geppetto. The DLC sees P going back in time to a time when Krat wasn’t overtaken by disease and frenzy. Earlier this year, publisher Neowiz announced that sales of Lies of P and Overture have reached over 4 million units sold.

While no official details have been given on if the Lies of P sequel will take place in the same location or time, there is a hint of where we could see the story go. During a teaser during the credits of the main game,

We see clicking red shoes clicking together on a rooftop, implying that Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz
will be the inspiration for the next game. Whether Round8 Studios follows up on that, we will ultimately have to wait and see.
