Can you believe it was only a year ago that we were just getting our hands on the excellent Pinocchio inspired Soulslike, Lies of P. Personally, it was my game of 2023, with brilliant mechanics, bosses, style, and story, it ticked all the boxes for me, and I was incredibly excited by the teasing of where the series may go next in its fantasy themed world.

I’m sure, like me, players have been wondering how the previously announced DLC was progressing, as well as the formerly announced sequel (though it’s accepted that’s certainly further away. Well, we haven’t been given any new concrete information today, but the Director of Lies of P, Jiwon Choi, posted the community on social media to give us an update as well as share some new artwork (pictured above) and a new song from the DLC (see below).

So no indication of when we might actually see something from the DLC, or news about the sequel, but it’s great to know they’re working on it and sharing snippets to whet our appetites! I love the look of the potential new location (there’s always a lighthouse, amirite?).
