If you are a big fan of the Dark Picture games, chances are you are a big fan of the Curator. The Curator would give breaks in the story to give you riddles and make you think about what you’ve seen so far. While the Curator is in Directive 8020, he is here in a much different capacity. Not only that, but you must do some things to unlock his scene. This guide will tell you how to do so.
O Death Secrets
As is the case in all Supermassive games, there are a ton of secrets to collect scattered about the game. While there are the normal secrets to find, there is also a group of special secrets that you can only find once finding the first one near the end of the game in Episode 8. Once you have found this secret you can then go back and find the others.
Each of these secrets will offer you a little glimpse at a scene. Collect all 5 and you will get the scene with the Curator. We won’t spoil the scene itself here, but we will at least show you where the 5 secrets are so you can see it for yourself.
Episode 8 Chapter – The Way Back
This Doesn’t Belong Here
You cannot find the first secret for the 0 Death secrets until you find this one in Episode 8. At the beginning of the chapter walk forward and you will notice an empty spot for a battery cell. Make note of that as you walk forward and grab the battery cell for the door into the next room. Return back to the previous spot and place the batter which will let you slip into the vent thats there.
On the other side you will find a bit of a puzzle maze and will have to lower a bunch of servers to navigate the area. It isn’t that difficult to do, just keep looking for things to interact with using your utility strap. Once you get to the end of this area you will see a screen which is a regular secret. On the floor to the left of that screen though will be a coin that you can pick up.
This will be your first 0 Death secret collectible and will then unlock the ability to find the others. You will need to use the turning point system now to go back into the other chapters to find the other 4. You can see where they are in the turning points, but we will of course show you the way.
Episode 1 – Medical
The Man In The Bowler Hat
Head back to episode 1 now and the medical chapter. Head to basically the end of the chapter and in the room where the breach is you will see a circular console area in the middle of the room. Inside it on the floor will be the secret to collect.
Episode 3 – Search
Paranoia
Progress through the chapter until you get into the bigger Mess Hall area. To the far right you should see a couple signs that look like a digital food and drink menu. Just past them on the wall will be a monitor. Interact with it to collect the secret and see the next little scene.
Episode 5 – Radio Silence

At the beginning of the chapter turn around and head up the stairs and head towards the cockpit. About 3/4 of the way down the hall on the left will be a monitor to interact with.
Bloodlines
Head through the chapter and up the elevators. Proceed towards the objective but instead of going through the door go down the nearby stairs. Hang a left at the bottom and then go to the end of the hall and up the stairs to the left.
At the top of the stairs on a bench will be the final secret. Collecting it and you will see the Curator scene as well as the teaser for the next game in the Dark Pictures franchise.
