In February we were lucky to get hands on with Beastro, an upcoming strategic deck builder that blended cozy cooking into the mix better than a Nutribullet blender making your favorite smoothie. With mini games, farming, quests, and the joy of some of the characters, it sets itself as a great introductory deck builder for gamers. It’s not just about building your deck but building your town to table restaurant, gathering ingredients, and crafting meals. Overall, Beastro sounds like a great time.
Unfortunately, for those who are ready to get cooking, you’ll have to wait a bit longer before donning that apron. Today, Timberline Games took to social media to announce they need a little bit more time before serving this dish. Okay, we’ll try to calm on the puns. Truth be told Beastro is a game we’re looking forward to and seems worth the wait.
On social media, the Timberline games shared “A few items have come up that we want to address before serving you our best work.” They admit to being a smaller team and I think anyone who has been looking forward to this release will give them a bit of grace. Beastro’s new release date is June 11th, just three weeks after the initial release date.
The additional three weeks will add polish and what the team is calling meaningful changes. As someone who is following this game, we’ll happily wait to see the fully finished product.
