OPUS: Prism Peak: EV-6 Achievement Guide

OPUS Prism Peak is a beautifully crafted story with heart. But sometimes our protagonist Eugene can feel like a bit of a downer in the game. Maybe that is exactly who you want him to be. His life has been harsh, he should own it! If that’s how you feel about Eugene, here is our guide to keeping him negative along the way.

After viewing his youth and his first few photography lessons, you’re given options to choose how he views his past. The choices highlighted in black in the photos are the options you’ll want to choose to complete the EV-6 Achievement. They will also be listed as the captions for the images.

Choice One:

When Eugene says “But to me…” if you want to remain negative, embrace being alone.

Correct Choice: I could always find something to enjoy on my own.

Choice Two:

When Eugene states, “Took my camera and headed for the city to make a living” it’s time to make another choice.

Correct Choice: But it turns out life’s not that easy.

Choice Three:

But just as I was starting to settle in my wife left. This feels like another time where Eugene can drown in his sorrows or try to find the silver lining. Go ahead boy, drown in those sorrows.

Correct Choice: Why does it always turn out like this?

Choice Four:

Again we’ll find Eugene reflecting on his past. The company has shuttered. It’s almost like no matter what he does, it is destined to fail. Why bother? Enjoy being lost for a bit.

Correct Choice: For a while, I felt lost.

Choice Five:

In a few years the cafe folded too. Again, it’s another reflection point for Eugene on how he views his life. He has hoped against hope and worked with friends to make it happen. But hope is only so strong for so long isn’t it?

Correct Choice: I guess things never really go the way you hope.

Choice Six:

Eugene reflect on what brought him to the city and he can’t quite remember it anymore. He’s heading to a funeral and he’s trying to let go of some of the past. Eugene was a firm believer that if you captured things they wouldn’t disappear. Memories wouldn’t be gone. But now he’s older, wiser, and he knows better.

Correct Choice: Some things are just meant to disappear.

Before you get to Eugene in his car driving to his grandfather’s funeral, the steam achievement should pop up to confirm Eugene is pretty negative. Congratulations enjoy your OPUS: Prism Peak: EV-6 Achievement!
