Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy Announced

After taking a bit of a break from the horror genre to help create last years excellent Mafia: The Old Country, developer Stormis returning to its roots. Today at the Future Games Show the studio announced the third game to their Remothered series with Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy.

Red Nun’s Legacy is said to be the grand finale of the series and will bring a refreshed vision to the series. Since the last Remothered game released, Remothered: Broken Porcelain in 2020, Stormind went on to developer A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead. Additionally they were a co-developer for the earlier mentioned Mafia: The Old Country.

Stormind wants to bring the knowledge and experience they gained from working on those 2 bigger projects forward into Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy.

Remothered was the first game we developed at the very beginning of our journey, and after our experiences with A Quiet Place and Mafia: The Old Country, we returned to the series because we couldn’t accept seeing Remothered fade away,” said Stormind CEO Antonio Cannata. “We decided to make this game out of a strong sense of respect and responsibility toward Remothered and its community, who thought this project had been abandoned.”

With the Red Nun’s Legacy, the Stormind is creating a horror experience to rival their previous titles. Players will explore a covenant while Stalkers relentlessly prey upon you. While avoiding the Stalkers you will play in a world where nothing is as it seems. You will uncover secrets and revelations as you work to learn the truth about the Red Nun.

Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy will dig deep into the story and present new special skills that expand the gameplay pillars of Remothered,” said Game Director Antonio Cutrona. “While the game is a standalone experience that fans of old-school horror can dive right into and enjoy without playing the first two games in the series, it will offer the conclusion that long-time fans have been waiting years to play.”
