For this achievement, you will end up having to reach max bond with each of the 8 children, and complete each specific mission they have after you reach that max level. Overall, the actual missions for the children aren’t hard; it’s just the grind to maxing out the bond that can take some time.

Will need to max every bond with the children, with a total of 1500 points needed each.

My most important tip for this is to not ignore the main storyline for Morning Glory. Doing it doesn’t matter at all for this specific achievement, but you need to do it for other achievements anyway, and doing it will give you 3 bumps to each child’s relationship meter, with most getting 100 points per meal, with some getting 150 points for liking the specific food being made. So if you do absolutely nothing but the main quest, you will be at a minimum of 300/1500 points for each child, so a fifth of the way through.

In terms of boosting the bonds, there are various activities you can do that will increase the bond. These range from fishing, bug catching, board games, helping with homework, and sowing. Try them all out at least once to see what you prefer. The most notable for me were the bug catching and the homework.

Homework can range from 5 to 10 questions, but it gets you a quick 90 points each completion.

The bug catching puts you in a contest where you go up against 3 of the kids to see who can catch the most bugs. On each successful win, you will gain 50 points for each kid. This allows you to boost multiple bonds at once, although not many points. The biggest point to time ratio I found was doing homework. Each successful completion of homework gives 90 points. Most of these can be done in a minute or two, especially the 5 question ones. It will get repetitive, but it is the quickest way to get this done.

At certain points, the child’s icon on the map will be glowing, which is a quick check you need to do to advance their story. Once you have their bond maxed, check in again to do the final part of their story, which generally will make them realize that Morning Glory is their family and that they can rely on each other. I’ve laid out the stories and what to do for each child:

  • Ayako: Kiryu will need to be Ayako in a race to make her promise to stick to her dream. Just win the race against her in Ikinawa, which shouldn’t be hard to do as long as you pass all the QTEs.
  • Taichi: Kiryu needs to make Taichi learn that he needs to try his best and train for it. Will have a Rocky-inspired training montage. Taichi will lose his follow-up Sumo match, but realizes he’s happy since he tried as hard as he could.
  • Koji: Kiryu will talk to Koji about being an effective leader and how to communicate and factor in everyone’s opinions.
  • Mitsuo: Kiryu will help Mitsuo pick out an outfit and work up the courage to ask Riona to go to the movies with him. Choose whichever outfit you want, as the choice will not matter to the outcome.
  • Riona: Riona will lose a fashion contest she entered and be down. Kiryu decides to buy her some makeup as a reward for doing her best. Approach the makeup stand and comment however you like, and then defeat the man assaulting Riona to end this story.
  • Eri: Eri will feel like she doesn’t have a real family. Spend the day with her in Okinawa, getting ice cream, spinning the raffle, and taking photos in the market. Defeat the thugs at the end to finish Eri’s story.
  • Shiro: Shiro will wonder why his best friend won’t talk to him anymore. Tell Shiro he needs to ask his friend if he did anything to upset him. Kiryu will end up fighting his friend’s abusive father, ending Shiro’s story.
  • Izumi: Izumi will get mad at the family dog, and when Kiryu scolds her a bit, she will run away, upset that everyone is mad at her. Follow the dog to the downtown area, where Izumi is being harassed by some thugs. Defeat them to end this story.

Once all 8 stories have been completed, the morning glory section of the game will be wrapped up, and the achievement will unlock! Overall, not a hard one to get done, just a bit time-consuming.
