Sony has just wrapped up it’s February 2026 State of Play and it was a long one! Promising information from “third-party and indie games headed to PS5, along with the latest from teams at PlayStation Studios” there was quite a bit to see. If you missed some of it, don’t worry, we have you covered. Here’s everything mentioned at the State of Play.

Kena Scars of Kosmora
In a fantastic surprising opening, here is one perhaps no one saw coming. Emberlab (and PlayStation Studios) wants to know if you need help and if you do, Kena is back. This first look is the follow up to Kena Bridge of Spirits from 2021. Coming to PS5 and PC later this year. Be sure to check out our deeper dive here.
Ghost of Yotei Legends
It should come as no surprise that online multiplayer was making its way to Ghost of Yotei and now we have more information. March 10th you’ll be able to play up to 4 players. Can you survive the Oni, the Spider, Kitsune and Snake? *Ghost of Yotei Legends will launch on March 11 in some territories including Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Death Stranding 2 To PC
Switching gears from new announcements to ports is Death Stranding 2 coming to PC March 19th. We knew it was a matter of time and now we know exactly when PC players can see Norman Reedus in the critically acclaimed sequel. Check out more information on what PC players can expect here and as well as our overall review of the game.
4:LOOP
Bad Robot is back with a four player combat sandbox. Combine alien tech and your own ingenuity to succeed in your mission. Vote with your team to teleport in and survive. Rescuing survivors, collecting resources, and surviving against the aliens are all possible. There is an upcoming playtest for players to help so be sure to keep an eye out for that opportunity!
Pragmata
We’ve covered Pragmata a small bit here but it looks even better in this trailer. We’re seeing more of the story and where the adventures take Hugh and Diana including an abandoned New York City. The trailer dives us deeper into the world. Pragmata will release on April 24, 2026.
Resident Evil Requiem
Capcom continues their showing with Resident Evil 9. We get a bit more of the story including seeing Leon return to potentially some fan favorite spots. For those avoiding spoilers, feel free to skip to the next trailer, we won’t spoil it for you. For those who want to know more, we also have our deeper dive into this trailer. Resident Evil Requiem launches February 27, 2026.
Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered
Fans of the Legacy of Kain series rejoice. A remaster of Legacy of Kain Defiance is on its way and you can preorder it today. The full game will launch March 3, 2026.
Brigandine Abyss
Six heroes rise against an empire with overwhelming power in this strategic JRPG featuring over 100 unit classes. There are six main storylines and sidequests that span multiple nations in this 2026 release. This series has been running since 1998 but now is a great time to give it a shot if you’re a fan of tactical JRPGs. Take a look at our closer coverage on Brigandine Abyss here.
Dead or Alive Series Update
The series is back with a new update! Koei Tecmo has not forgetten this and Dead or Alive 6: Last Round is REAL. Building on the original Dead or Alive 6 it will bring back characters that were DLC, new costumes, and an improved photo mode. Expect new characters and costumes in future updates as well. A free to play version will be available at launch for those wanting to try out the series. This year marks the 30th anniversary so there’s no time like June 25, 2026 to give it a shot!

Control Resonant
We see an early mission shared from an early build narrated by Creative Director Mikael Kasurinen. No updated release date just yet but be ready for this one before the year is out. If this has peaked your interest, be sure to check out our closer look at the gameplay reveal.
Crimson Moon
You are a half angel half human hybrid tasked to keep humanity safe in this upcoming action adventure RPG with a flair for the gothic. Play alone or with another player when this game releases Fall 2026.
Beast of Reincarnation
We get a look at the characters and some of the combat in this upcoming Game Freak title. Explore and take down beasts with your dog in this title set in a post-apocalyptic Japan. Beast of Reincarnation releases August 4, 2026 on PlayStation 5. We’ve covered more of it, including that it is Game Pass Day one here.
Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition
Five playable versions of the game including the 1995 PlayStation release with accessibility options for 2026. There is also a documentary for Rayman fans to dive deeper into the game, the development, and the history. Digitally this game is available tomorrow and physical June 26, 2026. Mina the Hallower
Control Mina as she saves a cursed island. There is a limited time demo releasing tomorrow and the game is due for a Spring 2026 release on PlayStation.
Neva: Prologue
Alba must learn the young wolf’s trust in this prequel that may be just as emotional the first one. The art style is somehow more beautiful than the previous one and launches Feb 19, 2026.
Yakoh Shinobi Ops
This four player cooperative stealth game from ACQUIRE and SHUEISHA GAMES will have you pushing your tactical skills to the limit in 2027.
Project Windless
No this isn’t an Angry Birds Spin off. In fact, this is based on the Korean fantasy novel series “The Bird That Drinks Tears”. Enjoy this look at upcoming open world action RPG.
Star Wars Galactic Racer
Coming in 2026 and you can wishlist today, this title allows you to enjoy racing in the Star Wars universe. We meet Shade, a racer with a dream of glory and revenge. Can Shade reclaim destiny or fall short? Read more on Star Wars Galactic Racer here.
007 First Light
Bond. James Bond. The drip of information continues as we see the story behind 007 First Light in this story trailer. Coming to PlayStation 5 on May 27, 2026. Preorder now and get a deluxe edition upgrade at no additional cost. See our deeper dive into what was shared at the State of Play here.
Third Party Portfolio Team Deeper Dive With Konami
The Master Collection Vol 2 is here. This collection will include “Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots” and “Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker”. Preorders are open today. The final update for Master Collection Volume 1 is also releasing and there will a discount on Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater for those who haven’t picked it up yet.
Darwin’s Paradox
Konami is also releasing Darwin’s Paradox. As Darwin use your unique talents and abilities in this upcoming platform adventure game.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse
It’s the 40th anniversary of Castlevania and there are no signs of stopping with this series. We see the reveal trailer for the next 2D Action-Exploration entry in this series. They promise to stay true to the feeling of the series while introducing new and exciting gameplay elements. Castlevania Belmont’s Curse will release in 2026.
Silent Hill: Townfall
Simon says be sure to catch this trailer of him returning to the island of St. Amelia. For those who like to go in to these game blind, we’ll spare you the details. Rev. Noir
A teaser trailer for an upcoming JRPG from Konami, Rev. Noir brings together a boy with amnesia and a special girl in a world surrounded by light fall. Can they save the world and more importantly, can he save her? GSC does a deeper dive here.
John Wick
The John Wick universe is ready to expand beyond TV and film in this upcoming untitled game. While there is no date just yet, it can’t be denied that getting hands on with this might be the next best thing to watching the film. GSC takes a closer look at the trailer here.
Marathon
March 5th is the official release for Marathon but Service Slam is Feb 26 until March 2nd to help test the servers and ensure they are ready. Get an introduction to the world they’ve built and earn rewards that you can take into the full release of the game. PlayStation 5 players will also get charms from games such as Ghost of Yotei and Death Stranding.
PlayStation Plus Catalog
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 joins the Plus catalog next week. Play as Peter and Miles in this sequel from Insomniac Games. Also joining the catalog in the upcoming months are Tekken Dark Resurrection, Time Crisis, and Big Walk.
Saros
Death means you come back stronger in this highly anticipated title. For a deeper look at the gameplay, be sure to check out our coverage here. Saros launches April 30, 2026.
Marvel Tokon X-Men
X-Men Assemble! Okay those aren’t quite the right words but you and your friends can assemble in Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls with preorders beginning February 19, 2026. You can wishlist now on PS5 & PC. In this trailer we see Magik, Wolverine, Storm, and Danger. Take a closer look at the fighters with our coverage here. What team will they show us next? With 20 fighters announced, there will be much more to see before it releases August 6, 2026.
God of War Trilogy
The Greek Trilogy remake is now in development as confirmed by the voice actor of Kratos. He promises something big in the next announcement.
God of War Sparta
Available on PS5 today, check out Kratos in his youth in this 2D action platformer from Mega Cat Studios in partnership with Santa Monica Studio.
