Cairn, a recently released mountain climbing simulator by The Game Bakers, may be a mostly solitary and gruelling experience. However, every budding pro-climber needs to have some training and knowledge if they hope to defeat Kami, something that no one has done before. Here is our Grizzly Woman trophy guide for Cairn.
Grizzly Woman Trophy Guide
If the threat of falling off a huge mountain isn’t enough of a thrill for you, let’s add surviving a bear encounter to your list of craziness.
In order to find a bear, you must progress far enough into the main story where you’ve ditched Marco and are on your way to the 2nd troglodyte village.
Enter the cave, and you’ll see some skeletons, huge scratches on the walls and floor, and a slightly ominous dead climber at the end of the cave. Don’t loot him. Yet!
Looting this corpse of his goodies will trigger the bear encounter. If you do this unprepared, you won’t survive.
Make sure you are fully healed, and if possible, have the Grit and burst buff in order for you to survive one of his swipes and allow yourself to be fast enough to run away.
Pressing R1 won’t be as good as it’s just a swift walk. However, if you’ve noticed, R2 to sprint doesn’t last long and will leave you winded. The best way to do this is to sprint and jump, allowing you to gain quick distance from the bear, and it won’t tire you out.
Once you’ve made it out, you’ll get your trophy, and you can add this notch to your mountain climbing experiences! Congrats, you Grizzly Woman, you!
