Arc System Works, the Japanese game developer behind the BlazBlue and Guilty Gear series, has revealed some gameplay and character details for their upcoming action-adventure game, DAMON and BABY, as well as the game’s release date.
In a press release that was sent out earlier today, Arc System Works announced that DAMON and BABY will be releasing across PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 on March 26th, 2026.
First revealed back in June last year, DAMON and BABY is a heartwarming story of the Demon Lord “Damon”, who must set off on a quest to break a curse binding him to a mysterious child. Together, the duo must reach the Celestial Realm, blasting their way through hordes of demons trying to snatch the titular Baby.
Master running, jumping, and gunning as you face off against over 80 demonic minions, and make good use of the “Baby Jump” mechanic, where Damon launches the Baby forward and then teleports to its location. Explore a vast, pop-art, dark fantasy world filled with items, collectibles, ingredients and weapons for you to discover along your journey, and meet a colourful cast of characters, all crafted by Daisuke Ishiwatari, the General Director of the Guilty Gear series.
In fact, fans will want to keep their eyes peeled for cameos of fan-favourite characters from the Guilty Gear and BlazBlue series!

There is also the option to have a friend take control of Damon’s faithful “Dog” companion and join you in offline co-op.
Strangely enough, there is no mention of the Nintendo Switch release date for DAMON and BABY, which was confirmed when the game was first announced.
DAMON and BABY will release across PC, PS4, and PS5 on March 26th, 2026.
