With the end of 2025 fast approaching, Xbox has revealed the games being added to the many tiers of Xbox Game Pass this month, providing lots of options, both new and old, for their subscribers. Including Xbox first-party titles, returning favourites, and day one releases, there is bound to be something to pique your interest this December.

Originally released in two halves, both parts are included, giving players a chance to experience this 90s era narrative journey from Don’t Nod, creators of the Life Is Strange series. We here at the GSC are excited to get our hands on ROOUTINE, the first-person sci-fi horror game from Lunar Software and published by Raw Fury. Originally announced back in 2012, and with two engine jumps from UE3 to UE5 in that time, we can’t wait to see what this tactile, retro-futuristic experience has to offer. Also, it’s another day-one Xbox Game Pass release, so add it to the tally!
The Game Pass Essential tier is also getting three new additions with the intergalactic strategy game Stellaris, World War Z: Aftermath, and Medieval Dynasty!
