The Lonesome Guild – Primaeval Parish Map & Collectibles Guide

Lonesome Guild is an action-adventure RPG with linear progression in terms of storytelling. However, the game does have some collectibles scattered throughout the maps, as well as side quests that require some backtracking. Luckily, there is a very simple map provided to you for each map; HOWEVER, it provides us with very little information. Not only that, it’s not the kind of map that you take with you; you have to be at the location where the map is for you to look at it.

We will be providing the map that you’ll see in the game, but complete with:

  • side quest locations, needed for Boy Scout, Wandering Hero, and Chosen One
  • Ghosts for Paranormal Activity, The Haunting, Phantasmagoria
  • Memories for Memorabilia, Album of Remembrances, and Honorary Ark (don’t forget that to see memories, you’ll need to be in control of Ghost
  • Flowers for Forget-me-not, Loves Me, Loves Me Not, and Ranfiero’s Gardener

Please note that these maps are potentially a work in progress. Let us know if there’s anything we’ve missed!

Primaeval Parish Map & Collectibles Guide

The main goal in this area is to visit every main shrine to gain the blessing of the spirits to gain access to the next zone. As we do so, let’s go around and grab some goodies!

Collectibles

Side Quest

Stop the Presses(5): You’ll meet the Tallyoh Reporter right by the map, standing in front of a house. He wants you to hunt for three evidence inside the Mayor’s house and answer his questions based on the clues you’ve found. There’s actually a weird glitch at the time of writing, where you can click on the same clue three times, and it’ll count towards your goal. Which means you can skip looking for all three and go to the reporter right away to answer his questions, if you choose.

*Make sure to pick up the flower in this building, as completing the quest may lock you out of this flower*

The first two clues are easily accessible. Meanwhile, the last clue is located behind a locked room. The key can oddly be found in a treasure chest on a balcony.

Once done, locate the last clue and head back out to the reporter and let him know what you found.

He will ask you three questions, and you must answer in a way that corresponds with the clues you found in the Mayor’s house.

The answers are:

  • He made it up
  • He’s using them
  • He’s targeting people

Once all three are answered, he’ll be satisfied with the scoop, and the quest is complete.

Lost Lockbox(6): A miner asks you to locate a lockbox. This lockbox is located on the 2nd level of the Sootpipes.

House That Guilt Built(7): A shady citizen requests that you solve the puzzle in the house beside him and split the treasure inside. Why do we always have to do all the work? Regardless, inside the house, you’ll immediately see a Ghost Fire as well as a pillar with levers. Each lever moves a corresponding pillar; however, we need to figure out what symbols we need.

On both the left and right sides of the house, you’ll see four symbols appear with the ghost fire. They are fire and wind on the right side and water and wind on the left. However, it isn’t as simple as the left symbols go on the left pillar and vice versa. On the symbols, you’ll see a little diamond symbol on one of the corners of the square, indicating which pillar it corresponds to. (Ie, the water symbol with a diamond on the bottom right means it belongs to the bottom right pillar)

Regardless, you need to make the pillars look like this to open the door, retrieve the treasure and complete the quest!

Flower

Witch’s Candelabra: This *might* be a missable flower. At the time of writing, it needs to be acquired before completing the Stop the Presses side quest. Once you complete that quest, you are no longer able to enter the Mayor’s House, which is where this flower is located.

Spikebloom: To gain access to this flower, you must start from the crystallised teardrop icon on the map. Grab the ghost light to reveal the bridge leading to the flower, as well as interacting with the lever, allowing for a future shortcut.

Memory: This memory is right outside the crystallised octagon icon on the map.

Ghost: While in control of Ghost, head towards the right side of Primaeval Parish to spot the Yearning Ghost.

Once you’ve visited the parish of each elemental spirit and completed their tasks, head back to the Fire one and the path of Sootpipes opens up to you.
