Following its release on Switch and Steam earlier in August, SEGA have announced that the House of the Dead 2 Remake will come to PlayStation and Xbox this month.
The remake of one of the most iconic on-rails shooter arrives to both generations of console – Xbox One and Series X/S; and PlayStation 4 & 5 in the height of spooky season, launching October 24 2025.

The 1998 arcade shooter which later came to SEGA’s last console, the Dreamcast is developed by MegaPixel Studio and published by Forever Entertainment.
The remake is one of many SEGA titles that are currently on the table for remakes or reimagining’s. SEGA is currently working on a new Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio titles. The publisher also announced Panzer Dragoon: Zwei Remake at Tokyo Game Show last month.
Sadly, a Sonic Adventure remake isn’t something SEGA and Sonic Team are working on.
