Sony Announces State of Play for September 24th

Sony has officially confirmed its next State of Play broadcast will air on Wednesday, 24 September 2025, promising fresh updates on upcoming PlayStation titles and a few surprises from third-party partners. The showcase will begin at 5 PM ET / 2 PM PT / 10 PM BST, streaming live on YouTube and Twitch.

According to Sony’s announcement, the September edition will run for over 35 minutes, with a focus on third-party, indie games and some updates from certain PlayStation Studios. This includes 5 minutes of gameplay from Saros, the upcoming title from Returnal devs, Housemarque, as confirmed in a tweet by Geoff Keighley.

While no other titles were named in the PlayStation Blog, fans are speculating that updates on Marvel’s Wolverine and Fairgame$ could be on the cards.

The September State of Play comes amid a busy season for gaming news right at the beginning of Tokyo Game Show, following Nintendo’s recent Direct and the day before Microsoft’s Tokyo Game Show showcase.

As always, trailers and announcements will be available here on Gamer Social Club after the broadcast ends.
