Use the Hell is Us: Solve the Blue Flower Scroll Puzzle guide to keep progressing through the world of Hadea.

Hell is Us is third-person action-adventure game that aims to “return to the roots of adventure games” by getting players to rely on their instincts rather than way points and map markers. It’s ambitious and quite rewarding to make progress and discover stuff off the beaten path.

There’s a whole host of puzzles, mysteries and strange items to be found in the world of Hadea, where Hell is Us is set. Not to mention weird looking enemies too!

With that in mind, we’ve pulled together some guides which we hope are helpful. Please note that these won’t necessarily be step-by-step walkthroughs, but things to look out for to help solve the mystery.

As part of the main objectives of the game, you’ll need to unlock The Watcher’s Nest, hideout of the Vigil (no spoilers of course). To get in, you will need to find a couple of emblems that are scattered around Vyssa Hills.

Once you’re in, you’ll need to solve the Watcher’s Nest Ceramic Flowers puzzle to progress. Once you’ve done so, you can head down to the stone coffin, using the ladders in the hideout. Pull the lever in front of the coffin to open it up. Inside you’ll find a passive relic, as well as a Blue Flower Scroll which you’ll need when you head to Lake Cynon.

Off to Lake Cynon

Take that scroll back to the APC and chat with Tania Alver. You’ll unlock the Lake Cynon location. Head there in your APC. On arrival, head down into the main area, which you’ll spot by all the blue flowers.

With the water on your right, head to the left and look for a pool of water, surrounded by crystal pillars.

There are five pillars, four surrounding the water, one on each corner. The fifth one is on a raised platform up some small stairs. To solve the puzzle you need to hit the pillars with your weapon in a certain order. You can tell which pillar is which by symbols on each of the pillar in a black emblem.

The order is:

Crown
Tear / Drop of water
Key
Star
Goblet (this is the one on the raised area)

After hitting all five in the correct order, a mechanism will rise out of the water. A big circle to the side of the water pool will open up revealing a collectible (yellow orb). This will be a Gear – Spindle.
