gamescom continues to deliver trailer after trailer for new games.
This evening during the Future Games Show we got our latest look at the upcoming entry in the Styx franchise, Styx: Blades of Greed, which was revealed in March this year. The game is developed by Cyanide Studio and follows predecessors, Styx: Master of Shadows and its 2017 sequel, Styx: Shards of Darkness. The game is also part of the Of Orcs and Men series.

In the new trailer. Styx shows off the series known traversal and stealth mechanics as he takes down enemies with blades, takes mind control of foes and walks them off ledges to their death and more. Sneaky!
The trailer ends with Styx being spoken to by The Grand Priest who is tasked with getting back what Styx has taken from them. It also appears that the rare stone quartz will play a key part in the story as “everyone’s going crazy for a taste of its power”.
Styx: Blades of Greed will release on PC (Steam) PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S later this year. Players can wishlist now.
