Xbox Unveils The Pulse Cipher Special Edition Controller

Xbox has added another controller to their retro inspired Cipher range; the Pulse Cipher. Like its predeccesors, the Pulse Cipher has a transparent top case (giving a great view of the controller’s internals), mettalic triggers, and rubberised grips all done up in a rich red.

While the Sky Cipher and the Ghost Cipher are blue and white/clear respectively, we here at Gamer Social Club guess the name of this new entry is a reference to the heart. How… romantic?

While these three Cipher controllers make up the classic red, white, and blue, it seems strange that we have yet to see something similar in the iconic Xbox green.

Don’t forget that the option to design your own transparent Xbox controller is available now in the Xbox Design Labs!

Xbox has always put in the work when it comes to their accessories, especially their controllers. With a number of big 1st party titles expected to release this year, expect to see at least one limited edition themed controller in 2025.

The Pulse Cipher is currently available for pre-order on the Xbox website, priced at $74.99/£69.99 and releasing on February 4th. Just in time for Valentine’s Day!

What do you think of the newly announced Xbox Pulse Cipher controller? What colour would you like to see Xbox do next?
