Microsoft have announced that Xbox will be returning to the world’s biggest game show, gamescom next month. The annual event in Cologne, Germany will bring together tens of thousands of gamers with developers and publishers from across the globe. This years gamescom runs from August 20 _ 24 August.
At the Xbox booth there will be many Xbox Games Studio games for fans to get hands on with including Grounded 2, Ninja Gaiden 4 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 which is introducing a new city update and more.
Fans will also be able to get their hands on the upcoming Xbox handheld devices that were revealed earlier this summer, the ROG Xbox Ally and its more powerful twin, ROG Xbox Ally X.
In what likely be the standout of the booth though, Xbox have confirmed that the illusive Hollow Knight: Silksong will be playable via PC and the ROG Xbox Ally suite of consoles. This will be the first public hands-on opportunities for both Silksong and the ROG Xbox Ally consoles.
Furthermore, the Xbox booth will be the place to try a suite of games from their third-party partners from around the world:

Xbox gamescom live broadcasts
During gamescom, Xbox will host two live streams. Dates and content are as follows:
Wednesday, August 20: 6am PT / 9am EDT / 2pm BST / 3pm CEST
Featuring the ROG Xbox Ally handhelds, Grounded 2, Keeper, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and more.
Thursday, August 21: 6am PT / 9am EDT / 2pm BST / 3pm CEST
Featuring Ninja Gaiden 4, Overwatch 2, The Outer Worlds 2, and more.
Fans can watch the streams on Xbox’s YouTube, Twitch and Facebook channels.
Bethesda will also be hosting three days of live broadcasts from August 22. More details will follow.
Finally, as previously revealed, Call of Duty Black Ops 7 will feature during gamescom Opening Night Live.
Xbox FanFest 10th anniversary
Finally, Xbox’s 10th anniversary FanFest will take place during gamescom. More information about Xbox FanFest can be found on the official site.
