If, like me, you love an Annapurna release then I hope you’ve been following Mixtape since its reveal in summer 2024.
The music heavy story adventure game, featuring a breadth of tracks from stars including Roxy Music, Lush, Joy Division, the Cure and more will release on current-gen consoles, Game Pass and PC later this year.

During Summer Games Fest today we got our latest look at the upcoming game. Mixtape follows a group of teens on their last night together with a big adventure. Players will experience music-infused gameplay as they skate, fly and hit baseballs to the tune of The Smashing Pumpkins, Iggy Pop and the Banshees.
Annapurna call the game “the greatest hits of the teenage experience, from the first kiss to the last dance”. The trailers for the game that have been released so far have delivered vibes of Life is Strange and The Artful Escape’s lovechild – something everyone who loves teen adventures should get on board with.
