At today's State of Play showcase, Sucker Punch revealed that a gameplay deep dive for Ghost of Yotei will happen in July. Many fans expected that we would see this today, but there’s a little longer to wait.
The sequel to the stellar open-world original was announced at a State of Play last year to the delight of franchise fans. The sequel will release on October 2, with a Collector's Edition and digital pre-order bonuses available.

Yotei is an eagerly anticipated first-party single player title for Sony. The original Ghost of Tsushima launched in 2020, later seeing a Directors Cut on PS5. When the PC version released, Tsushima topped US sales charts in May 2024.
Sony have been working on many live service games for the last few years – including Concord which shut down after a matter of weeks, as well as a Last of Us multiplayer title. The likes of Ghost of Yotei, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet and SAROS will assure PlayStation gamers that AAA single player games aren't forgotten.
