FBC: Firebreak, the Control-universe multiplayer FPS isn't far away now. Remedy's new shooter will release on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on June 17 2025.
Remedy are keen to give the new shooter a strong player base start, as FBC: Firebreak will be launching day one into Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus. For players who aren't part of the subscription services, the game will also launch at budget price of $39.99/€39.99/£32.99, while the Deluxe Edition of the game will be $49.99/€49.99/£39.99.
For Remedy-verse fans who are keen to try the game before launch, a new crossplay closed technical test has been confirmed that will run from May 15 - May 19. Players can register for the tech test by visiting the FBC: Firebreak website. Note - when registering for the tech test, verification emails were sent to my spam filter so it might be worth checking yours if you plan to register.

Remedy have noted that spaces in the tech test are limited so not everyone who registers will be given access. In a cheeky nod to Control lore, the X announcement post added: "Director Faden has yet to approve the Unlimited Firebreakers Ordinance (U.F.O). Sorry about that”.
The GSC team are big fans of Remedy-verse games and can't wait to get their hands on FBC: Firebreak. Will you be registering for the tech test? What do you want to see from Control 2, Remedy's next big game? Let us know in the comments below and stick with GSC for more FBC: Firebreak updates.
