Doom: The Dark Ages – All Chapter 17: Temple Of Lomarith Collectibles & Upgrades Guide

Doom: The Dark Ages is here. The latest shooter in the Doom franchise from iD has a bit of a different feel with its more open world style of levels. Within each level is many different secrets on the form of collectibles, upgrades and other items. This guide will help you with finding all the upgrades and collectibles in Chapter 17: Temple Of Lomarith.

Ruby #1

After defeating the first major wave of enemies that opens the way forward, look to the right before entering that gate. Walk up the mini hill and jump over to the next section. Look up to find a shield recall jump spot.

Jump up and follow the path to the first Ruby.

Demonic Essence – Ammo #1

Defeat the major wave of enemies near the portal to grab the upgrade. This is unmissable.

Codex – Temple of Lomarith

Enter into the big gate after defeating the above leader and you will be swimming. You will head into a shipwreck. At the end instead of going out the side to continue the chapter swim further to the front of the ship. There will be a little hole you can slip through and inside this hidden room will be the codex.

Head to the area straight ahead/to the right rather than going left

Collectible Toy – Cacodemon Hybrid

Proceed through the mission until you activate the portal to make everything a storm. Jump up into the ship like the game wants you to and defeat all the enemies. If you look to the right of the hole you entered you will see the collectible in a cage. Head to the opposite side to see you can push the crate and do so.

Now return back to where the portal was and you will see the Cosmic eye you can use. Line it up, use your shield saw and go collect the toy.

Demonic Essence – Ammo #2

Proceed through the first circle booster and defeat the enemies. Before continuing by using the second one to the right look forward at the ship to find a spot you can shield charge through.

Drop down and go into the little room to the left for a big battle. Defeat the last enemy for the upgrade.

Weapon Skin

Proceed to the next and final section of the chapter. Defeat the wave of enemies and then head to the far left side of the lower level. You will see a water cave you can swim into.

Drop down, defeat the enemy to spawn the launcher then take the launcher up and grab the weapon skin.

Wraithstone

From the shrine head across to the exact opposite side of the map to the large ship. Shield charge through the side of it where you can.

Once inside to your right will be another spot to shield charge into. Do so, only you won't find anything. Head back out and turn around once again to find the hole is gone. Turn around once more and see that the ship has changed.

Head forward and get ready for one hell of a fight. Once the battle is over move forward again and you will drop into a hole and end up back in that previously empty room where the wraithstone now is.
