It should come as no surprise that there is some pretty dark humour in The Midnight Walk, on occasion leaning into the macabre. One such example also happens to unlock a trophy. So let’s not waste any more time, here is our The Midnight Walk “Mind Over Body” Trophy Guide.
Check out our review of The Midnight Walk to get our full thoughts on this handcrafted horror stealth game.
The “Mind Over Body” trophy is unlocked during Chapter Two, The Tale of the Loathsome Molgrim, during your visit to Nobodyville.
Progress through the level until you see the chapter title appear in front of you.

Further up the road, you’ll come across some rather rude heads atop tree stumps. Take the narrow path around the back of this group to find a patch of sticks. You’re going to have to part one of these heads with his favourite stick, it’s not like they were doing anything with it!

Return to the road and continue up the slope, and you’ll see some levers on the left side near the end of the road and a piece of parchment on the right. Pick up the parchment, which explains the upcoming puzzle.

Approach the edge, and a large head will appear on the other side of the valley. They task you with completing the Rite of Fire puzzle to enter Nobodyville.
Use the stick you grabbed earlier with the bank of levers to use it as the middle one, and now you can solve the puzzle. All it requires is lifting all 6 candles up.

Use the left lever to move the two glowing rings to the left one space, and use the right lever to do the same thing in the opposite direction. The middle lever is used to raise or lower the highlighted candles. Once they are all up, use Potboy to light them all, earning yourself access to Nobodyville.

Cross the drawbridge and head up the main street of Nobodyville to where the council of Heads, including the Headmaster, are waiting. Before interacting with them, go to the left side of the area.

Take the path across the bridge to the small building, and you’ll find a well-used guillotine! Potboy will run up behind the contraption, poke his head through, and… well, yeah.

Don’t worry, Potboy is just goofing around! Once your little chum has had his fun, the “Mind Over Body” trophy will pop.
Not often you have to watch an execution to earn a trophy, thank goodness it wasn’t lethal!
