Developer Nocturnal Games and Publisher Gcores Publishing have announced a release date for their ant-icipated cozy idle game, Bugtopia. Set to fly onto Steam on May 22nd, Bugtopia invites players to step into a vibrant world where your bugs are the center of it all.
Taking on the role of bug keeper, there are over 300 bugs inspired by real life to explore. Grow your encyclopedia as you buy and breed different species of bugs. Start with larvae and watch as they grow into adults. There’s so many different combinations with rare variants to discover!
It’s up to you to design your perfect terrarium. With 78 types of water, soil and wallpaper, 5 time cycles and 3 dynamic weather systems you can customize your terrarium to your fancy. Progressing offline also unlocks 451 additional decorative states. Your terrarium’s ecosystem evolves as your bugs become accustomed to their environment. Bugs thrive when surrounded by a diverse ecosystem!
Find the perfect blend of relaxation and productivity in Bugtopia. With the addition of Pomodoro timers, work along to the white noise of your terrarium. Passively take care of your bugs, or let the automatic systems do it for you. A cute little rubber ducky woodlouse gives gentle reminders to take breaks amidst your workday.
