The teenage years and high school. It’s a time where many people explore who they are as a person. Perhaps you adopted many different personalities. Maybe you were the one who tried different trends or music styles. If self discovery, a struggle of your true self, and self growth sound familiar, then perhaps this game will resonate with you.

Transfer to Kousei Academy where you’ll soon find out the rumors about this school are true. At Kousei you’ll find yourself in another world, a Glitch. People that have been replaced by monsters due to these Glitches. It’s up to you and your friends to get to the bottom of it. Are you in yet?

If so, prepare for Furyu’s upcoming release Varlet. Varlet seems to borrow a bit from reality. Kousei Academy has implemented a network known as Johari, think google or apple but even more powerful. Johari is used for everything and has caused its users to want more approval and attention from their peers. Of course this has consequences if the desires become too strong. Users will disappear and in their place will be monsters from the Glitches. As the hero, it’s up to you to solve the issues within the academy.

Play as the hero with the power to start a bit of a revolution while still being a student yourself. You’ll have to balance out your time after school as well. Friendships don’t just grow from nothing! Players will grow their bonds with others, but be careful of your intimate relationships. Based on the Steam description, the harem route is not recommended.

In Varlet, you’ll also be building your own stats in both the light and dark areas of your personality. Are you moving towards the lighter side with Morality, Sympathy, and Altruism? Or will you be the darker side with Machiavellianism, Psychopathy, Narcissism? These stats will change based on choices you make which can lead for more replayability in this upcoming RPG.
