Unlock the “Caught Red-Handed” achievement / trophy in Atomfall.

Atomfall is the latest, and newest game from the developers of Sniper Elite and Zombie Army, Rebellion. Their newest title is something of a first-person survival mystery game, where you must figure out what’s really going on in the Quarantine Zone in Windscale.

You must unravel the mystery, escape the Quarantine Zone and try to survive, and there’s plenty of wonderful ways to do that in the game that will earn you tasty achievements / trophies (if you’re so inclined).

“Caught Red-Handed” Achievement / Trophy

The “Caught Red-Handed” achievement / trophy tasks you with causing an enemy to drop their molotov cocktail. This is a pretty simple one, in theory, though I suspect it may get frustrating if you’re not keeping an eye out for the enemies with the molotovs.

Essentially, an enemy will get out and ‘prepare’ a molotov cocktail before launching it your way. Thankfully, if you spot it, there seems to be a generous enough window to get them. I used my revolver to shoot the perpertrator and they dropped it.

You can kill the enemy, as long as they have a molotov out, and haven’t thrown it, your good. Just make sure they drop it.

I did this just past the ‘Outlaw Cave’ not far from the beginning. You’ll come to a small stone house, that has a tripwire in the doorway. From there, you’ll see an opening with other buildings and at least seven or eight enemies.
