The Star Wars Celebration Will Have The First Look At Respawn And Bit Reactor’s Turn-Based Strategy Game

The panel schedule for the Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025 has just been released on the official Star Wars website, giving fans an idea of what will be happening across the three days. For gamers, the highlight of the event will be the first look at the Star Wars turn-based tactics game being developed by Bit Reactor and published by Respawn Entertainment.

The reveal will happen live on Saturday, April 19th on the Galaxy Stage, with an hour long slot from 4:30PM according to the schedule. Bit Reactor, an Indie studio made up of veteran developers who have worked on IPs like XCOM, Civilization, Gears of War, and Elder Scrolls Online, took to social media to spread the word.

Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Jedi series of games have been received well by fans and critics alike, often applauded for the studio’s take on the Souls-like genre, while noticably held back at launch by technical issues. Respawn confirmed that they were working on the third installment of Cal Kestis’ saga across the galaxy, but for this project they are in the role of publisher.

No doubt the pedigree of Bit Reactor coupled with Respawn’s experience with the franchise, will have fans excited for the reveal.
