Well the day has finally arrived. I have been waiting to learn more about Silent Hill F since the original CG trailer dropped during the series comeback Transmission Presentation and I’m glad to say after this Silent Hill Transmission we have a few new details to go over for the new game.
Story Details
The presentation started out by setting the stage with a brand new trailer that confirmed the assumptions based on the first teaser. Silent Hill F will take place in Japan during the 1960’s. Further more, we will be playing as Shimizu Hinako, a teenage girl. Shimizu Hinako’s home town gets engulfed by fog and transforms into something she doesn’t recognize. While exactly what is going on is still unknown , it is confirmed we will be fighting strange creatures and solving puzzles just like all the other games in the series.
Who’s Involved
We got interviews with a few of the people working behind the scene’s of Silent Hill F and probably most notable is Ryujishi007. A Japanese writer most noted for his work on the Higurashi When They Cry series. Akira Yamaoka also returns for music duties. Yamaoka has worked on basically every Silent Hill game to this point, which hardcore fans are sure to enjoy. I for one have always been a fan of Silent Hills soundtrack so it’s great to see he’s back.
Good News For Players Everywhere
So as you may know, while Silent Hill 2 Remake did come to PC, its still a PlayStation 5 console exclusive. That won’t be the case for Silent Hill F. It will launch day one on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Steam, Epic Games, and the Microsoft Store
