Tides of Annihilation Gets in Depth Look at Gameplay

Tides of Annihilation is a new game by Eclipse Glow Games that was announced at Playstations State of Play this past Wednesday. Now we have an in depth look at to what that game will look and play like.

Eclipse Glow Games is a new studio owned by Tencent and based out of Chengdu, China. They have over 100 developers working on this game. Developers who have worked on games like Yakuza, For Honor, Assassin’s Creed, Persona, and Prince of Persia. Its exciting to see new studios show off their games. It can also be hard for the consumer to manage expectations as they don’t have an idea as to what to compare it to.

Well after watching todays gameplay footage being released, its safe to say that Tides of Annihilation looks very promising.

Tides of Annihilation takes place in a post modern London with a medievil history. Its a singleplayer game that aims to give you the feeling of playing a co-op game.

Steam’s game description reads, “Tides of Annihilation is a fantasy action-adventure inspired by Arthurian legend. Uncover the mystery of an otherworldly invasion in a shattered modern London, unleashing hordes of enemies. As Gwendolyn, fight alongside spectral knights to save your family and piece a broken world back together.”

Tides of Annihilation has no release date yet. It will release on Playstation 5, PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
