Everyone’s favorite cute little gator is back with a new platforming DLC adventure. This time he’s going underground and exploring underground caves with new friends. He’ll have new tools (or toys) as he splashes around underground as well. Publisher Playtonic Friends shared on their BlueSky account that this is a game sized DLC. This means a lot more fun to have and lots more to explore!

The new characters have just been announced but the Steam page makes quick note that making new friends isn’t easy. Players should expect to have to complete a quest or two before having these new friends join you on your adventures. Lil Gator will also be dealing with teenagers who may be looking for troublesome fun. We all went through that rebellious teenage phase right? How will Lil Gator deal with teenagers and their angst as a young optimistic adventurer?

The release date hasn’t been announced just yet which means now is a great time to jump into the base game! Did you already beat the base game? Try the speed running mode introduced in 2023! This is the cozy conclusion to Lil Gator’s journey so be sure to enjoy this family friendly treat.

Definitive Edition Also Coming

For those of you that haven’t jumped into Lil Gator yet and want to wait, there will be a Gator Of The Year edition launching alongside the dlc which will feature both the base game and the dlc. This edition will be available for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series S/X.
