Skate Rolling Into Early Access In 2025

EA and developer Full Circle have announced on Twitter/X that “Skate” will be coming to early access in 2025. Skate has been in playtest for over a year on PC. Skate was revealed in June of 2020 and broke EA’s twitter engagement record at the time. EA stated “Over the last two years, the team has welcomed tens of thousands of individual playtesters into the city of San Vansterdam via the PC version, with console playtesting set to come in the Fall of 2024.”

There hasn’t been much more information since the announcement was made. Still waiting for dates of when early access will start and when console playtest will begin. Per Skate’s Twitter/X, more details are to come in the next months. However, for anyone interested in getting into the early access or possible playtest, sign up on “Skate Insider”.

Full Circle is a new studio by EA, based in Vancouver, CA. They also shared some story details and dropped a a debut trailer at Summer Games Fest this past June. Skate is stated to support cross play, cross progression on PC and consoles.
