The Game Awards has just wrapped for another year, and while there’s going to be plenty of discussion about the winners of the various awards, we’re here to talk reveals. As is tradition, alongside all of the well-deserved winners (did your choice take Game of the Year, turns out my guess did!!!), there’s raft of new reveals, closer looks, surprise guests and “just one more things”.
So without, further ado, let’s “wrap it up” and get to the reveals.
Pre-show
Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound (Nintendo Switch, PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

Slay The Spire 2 is finally here! Check out the reveal trailer for the followup to the rogue-lite card battler. Slay the Spire 2 will have new cards, new characters and, of course, new ways to die.
It comes to early access in 2025.
Dave the Diver: In the Jungle DLC (Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5)
Dave and his sushi-loving friends are heading into the jungle in this brand new expansion to the 2023 hit that blends deep sea exploration with sushi restaurant management.
It aims to release late 2025.
Thick as Thieves (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
The Game Awards 2024 showed off Thick As Thieves, a stealth game in the vein of, well, Thief and Dishonored from the mind of Warren Spector.
Shadow Labyrinth (Nintendo Switch, PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
This ain’t your grandfather’s Pac-Man. Shadow Labyrinth casts you as a mysterious hooded figure paired with a powerful Pac-Man pal, in this stylish Metroidvania.

Tales of the Shire (Nintendo Switch, PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
From the creative studio, Weta Workshop, live the cosy life of a Hobbit in the wonderfully serene landscape of the Shire. Discover, decorate, and share in this idyllic corner of Middle-earth. Join friendly Hobbits and familiar faces awaiting your arrival in Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game.
Tales of the Shire releases on 25 March 2025.
Stalcraft: X Operations (PC)
Check out the trailer for Stalcraft X: Operations, a new PvE mode that will be released in several stages throughout 2025. Teams of three players will venture into the mysterious corners of the Zone in a dungeon-crawling format with various objectives, interesting opponents, complicating modifiers, and mini-bosses.
Midnight Murder Club (PC, PS5)
You've been invited to the Midnight Murder Club, an elite group that gives you nothing but a gun and a flashlight before sending you into the darkened halls of a mansion. Conceal your identity behind a mask and join your friends in a game of perception, deception, and sharpshooting. In the darkness, every decision counts.
It launches in early access in February 2025.
Kyora (PC)
Kyora is a side-scrolling survival games where you and friends can mine your way around maps.
Rematch (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
Set in vibrant virtual reality arenas, the gameplay flows with no fouls and no offsides, and the action never stops. Players control only one player on the team in an immersive third person perspective, swapping roles as the situation evolves: from striker to defender, down to a uniquely designed goalkeeper position featuring specific abilities.
Solasta 2 (PC)
Decades after the events of Solasta: Crown of the Magister (2021), Solasta II transports players to the vibrant high-fantasy realm of Neokos"”a land of breathtaking beauty teetering on the edge of ruin at the hands of Shadwyn, an all-powerful being brought to life by Amelia Tyler (Baldur's Gate 3, Hades II). As her endless tide of corruption spreads across the continent, a band of valiant adventurers rises to the challenge.

The Witcher IV
The Witcher IV is an upcoming single-player open-world RPG from CD PROJEKT RED, the creators of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The beginning of a new saga, and a follow-up to one of the most acclaimed RPGs of all time, Ciri takes center stage as the protagonist, embarking on her own journey to become a professional monster slayer.
Elden Ring Nightreign (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
NIGHTREIGN is a standalone adventure within the ELDEN RING universe, crafted to bring a new gaming experience. RISE TOGETHER Join forces with other players to take on the creeping night and the dangers within featuring 3-player co-op. Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth (PC) – already available on PS5
Players will embark on an epic role-playing journey throughout the world of Final Fantasy 7 picking up where Final Fantasy 7 Remake left off as Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Aerith, and more travel to iconic locations and hit familiar story beats from the original game.
It’s coming to PC on 23 January 2025.
Indiana Jones and The Great Circle (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
Adventure Calls! Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is available now on Xbox Series, Game Pass, and PC. Coming to PS5 in Spring 2025.

A lone hero scales a towering mech and transforms its head into an aircraft in order to evade an apocalyptic black wave of death in this untitled game from Fumito Ueda, creator of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus.
The Outer Worlds 2 (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
The Outer Worlds 2, the sequel to Obsidian’s comedic outer-space RPG. It’s going to be at least ‘two’ times bigger.
It aims to release in 2025.
Split Fiction (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
In Split Fiction, Mio and Zoe are contrasting writers who become trapped in their own stories after being hooked up to a machine designed to steal their creative ideas. To escape with their minds intact, they’ll need to overcome their differences to crash the system that holds them, uncovering secrets and personal struggles hidden with their own fiction.
It releases 6 March 2025.
FragPunk (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
FragPunk brings a fresh blend of fun to the competitive FPS scene with its unique mix of tactical 5v5 combat, enhanced heroes named Lancers and most importantly, powerful gameplay modifiers called Shard Cards that bend the rules of every match! By mixing and matching Lancers, weapons, and Shard Cards, FragPunk promises chaotic fun for players of all skill levels.
The game releases, free-to-play, on 6 March 2025.
Killing Floor 3 (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
The year is 2091. The Megacorporation Horzine has unleashed an army of bioengineered monstrosities called Zeds. Now the rebel group known as Nightfall stands between these infernal creations and the future of humanity. In Killing Floor 3 you’ll team up with up to five people and wage war against waves of zeds, earn dosh, unlock skills, and build the ultimate arsenal.
It’s due to release in March 2025, with a closed beta coming soon.
Steel Hunters (PC)
STEEL HUNTERS is a Free-to-Play, PvPvE shooter with futuristic mech battles. Fight to collect rare loot on an abandoned Earth, and use combat tactics to turn rivals into scrap. Choose your Hunter and playstyle to battle 5 other duo teams. Only one can extract from the Hunting Grounds.
The PC beta is available now until 22 December.
Blackfrost: The Long Dark 2
Blackfrost: The Long Dark 2, the followup to the popular exploration and survival sim. You can craft to survive to make your way through another dark story.
It is coming to early access in 2026.
Borderlands 4 (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
Players will embark on a new adventure as Vault Hunters on a quest to find coveted secret alien treasure and riches beyond comprehension.
It’s releasing in 2025.
Tekken 8 (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
Clive Rosfield from Final Fantasy XVI was confirmed to be joining the Tekken 8 character roster on 16 December 2024. Clive Rosfield will be the final character added as part of Tekken 8’s Year 1 character pass.
Splitgate 2 (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series)
In the future, the world's most popular sport is Splitgate, where three factions battle for dominance. Pick from one of the sport's all stars, each from one of three classes with their own unique abilities, and claim the top spot by out-portaling your enemies, crossing maps in a second and gaining the tactical edge with unique angles. In these fast-paced fights, will you work with your team to secure the win or stand alone as the top competitor?

Virtua Fighter

Turok: Origins (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
Turok: Origins debuted at The Game Awards 2024, bringing the storied series to the modern era. Saber Interactive is behind Turok Origins, which looks like a co-op shooter.
Helldivers 2: Omens of Tyranny (PC, PS5)
The Omens of Tyranny update brings a new enemy faction with the Illuminate invasion of Super Earth planets in the galactic south to the third-person co-op action game. This initial alien force brings new enemies and new Super Earth colonies to fight on, featuring urban environments and the Voteless–innocent civilians who are mind-controlled by the Illuminate. The update also features the Fast Recon Vehicle (FRV).
The new update is out now.
Warframe: 1999 (Mobile, Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series)

Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet (PS5)
The Heretic Prophet is the newest franchise in development for the PlayStation 5 console from Naughty Dog, the studio behind acclaimed series like The Last of Us and UNCHARTED. Set thousands of years in the future, Intergalactic puts players into the role of Jordan A. Mun, a dangerous bounty hunter who ends up stranded on Sempiria - a distant planet whose communication with the outside universe went dark hundreds of years ago. Jordan will have to use all her skills and wits if she hopes to be the first person in over 600 years to leave its orbit.
