Along with being the holiday season, it’s also that time of the month again, in that it’s time to talk Playstation Plus additions for December. Today, on December 11th, 2024, Playstation announced on the PlayStation blog these games for the premium and extra tiers.

- Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus and Butterfly (PS4, PS5)

If you’re looking for personal recommendations, Sonic Frontiers, FIST, and A Space For The Unbound are probably my top picks from this lot.
There’s also the PlayStation exclusive Forspoken. While it didn’t light the world on fire the way PlayStation or Square Enix likely hoped, anytime you see an exclusive added it will garner some attention.
Now, for my favorite part, mostly because of the retro stuff, the plus premium stuff.

Honestly, there’s not a bad game in this bunch, but if you’re twisting my arm, the Sly series is probably the highlight here.
Also in case you missed it, earlier today PlayStation announced that hit platformer and Game Of The Year nominee Astro Bot will be receiving a free update tomorrow titled Winter Wonder.
