Where To Find All 8 Learning Stones In Drova - Forsaken Kin

Check out our review for Drova – Forsaken Kin HERE, and find out why it’s a CRPG worthy of (a lot of) your time!

Surviving in the perilous world of Drova demands you collect useful resources, find better gear, and get more powerful to survive. But how do you get more powerful, you ask? By learning, of course! Because as we all know, learning is power.

Just2D, the Indie developers who made the game, wanted to create a CRPG with modern game design that pays homage to the team’s classic inspirations. A great example of this is how leveling up is handled In Drova. Instead of gaining new abilities and stat increases as soon as you level up, you are rewarded a number of Learning Points (LP) that you spend instead. However, you can’t just drop them in via a character screen or a skill tree, someone will have to teach them to you.

There is a great deal for you to learn along your epic journey in the Celtic inspired world of Drova. For every skill or ability there is an NPC to teach you it. A woodsman could help you increase your strength, as well as how to do more damage when wielding an axe, while a trapper on the road could teach you how to skin and de-claw animals you kill. These are just a few of the skills you can learn, not to mention increasing your Strength, Dexterity or Mind stat using your LP.

But in such a dangerous and mysterious world, it is worth knowing as much as you can. Thankfully, there is something else that can give you the Learning Points that you seek.

Scattered throughout the land are large boulders inscribed with purple glowing runes. Off the beaten path and hidden away, these “Learning Stones” will give you 3 LP each when you interact with them. What follows is a list of all 8 of the Learning Stones to be discovered across Drova – Forsaken Kin:

World Map

1.

The first Learning Stone is found a short walk South of the Woodcutter’s Camp, sitting up on a rocky outcrop.

This one is a bit of a gimme, but they won’t all be. For some you may want to wait until you’re strong enough for the area.

2.

The Crossroads

Continuing West along the path you’ll come to a crossroads, head South and just past the shrine is a slope down.

Cross the dried up waterbed and take the slope up the other side, then head down.

Hidden by more trees is a slope to your left, take this path round and hug the rock wall to the right.

You should find another slope up to the right. From here follow the natural path to the right.

In this area, hidden in plain sight high up on this outcrop, is the Learning Stone!

3.

(If you already have the Misty Step spell you can take a short cut to this one. Head North out of the Woodcutter’s Camp in a straight line. When you get to the water search about and you should see the base of the Learning Stone across a narrow strip of deep water. Use your Misty Step across the gap and you’ve done it!)

Head North from the crossroads this time and take the right fork in the road to eventually cross the river and head East. Continue North and follow the path as it curves to the right (you’ll have to search for a way to cross the water North of the path.)

Just after crossing the water there is an opening down into the marshes. Move as if heading back down towards the Woodcutter’s Camp and you should find the Learning Stone after navigating some shallow water.

4.

This one is a bit of a trek. Starting from the Woodcutter’s Camp again, head North past the shrine and walk through the shallows to the other side.

The Shrine

Follow the path from the bank up and you’ll find this cave. Make your way through the cave, dealing with rock trolls and other beasties as you go.

Out the other side, walk Eastwards round the temple ruins, avoiding a fight with harpies if you don’t want to bother with them.

Keep walking East until you find these overgrown ruins and then head down a slope South of here.

There is a very useful footprint track you can follow using your investigation mode, handy in case you get lost.

Defeat or avoid the pack of fae enemies gathering at the stone henge, then head North West and following the rocky wall.

Camouflaged by a tree is another cave, and inside…

is the Learning Stone!

5.

Starting at the entrance to the Remnant’s Camp, head South. About halfway to the tavern you want to turn off to the right, keeping an eye out for a stone henge in the forest.

This Learning Stone may be easy to find, but it is also guarded by a powerful foe, so be prepared.

6.

Map of Forest Primeval

Red line shows relative path to Learning Stone.

The most well hidden of the Learning Stones, and the hardest to give directions for (this one may be easier to find if a certain story event happens). Starting at the tavern, head through the fence at the bottom and turn left into the Forest Primeval. The thick woods make it hard to give exact directions; in short, keep heading West until you hit water.

When you find the water’s edge look for a crossing. On the other side head up along a narrow strip of land to find the Learning Stone behind some trees.

7.

Starting at the tavern again, take the road heading East until you see a less defined path heading South. This is an area with strong enemies, especially when the fog creeps in, so be ready!

Keep heading South into the shallow waters, with the Learning Stone waiting at the furthest point to the right.

8.

Starting from Georgfarm to the North of Nemeton, head to the right and look for slopes leading down into the lower marshlands.

Make your way in a South-Easterly direction, and be prepared to fight through a lot of blood flies and frogmen. Your reward is another Learning Stone.

These last two are the toughest Learning Stones to reach, due to the difficult terrain and enemies.

And that’s it! Hopefully this list will help you on your journey through Drova – Forsaken Kin, and to whatever end awaits you.
