Sony has been increasing prices throughout the entire PS5 generation. Mostly in other countries but now we are starting to see it worldwide. First noticed by Wario 64 on X/twitter, he shows where Best Buy has increased the price on some of their Dualsense controllers. Then he later point outs that Target, Gamestop and even the Playstation store are now showing the $5 increase on certain controllers.

This increase also comes right after the PS5 console was raised in Japan. As of right now, there hasn’t been any word on them increasing the console price here in the US. With rumors of the PS5 Pro launching soon, there’s a technical presentation tomorrow that will likely unveil it, you would think the console prices would go down and not up. We all will be waiting to see how things play out when that time comes.
