FoamStars Going Free To Play

One of the first live service games to drop on Playstation as an exclusive earlier this year was none other than FoamStars. Despite being a Day 1 PlayStation Plus title it didn’t seem to make much of an impact, and now it is going free to play.

Starting on October 4th of this year, Square Enix has announced through a statement on its website that the game is going free to play. In addition to the game being free they also stated you will no longer need a PS plus subscription to play the game on line.

If you happen to be one of the people that has already paid for the game, Square-Enix will be gifting you a free in-game “Legacy gift,” which will include

-12 exclusive color-variant Bubble Beastie skins
-1 exclusive Slide Board design
-1 title: “Legacy”

The game is still exclusive to only Playstation 4 and 5 at the moment  so no release for PC or Xbox at this time. Will you be trying out the game now that it’s free to play?
