Neural Dominion: A New Cyberpunk Strategy Experience

Camlann Games, and new to the scene, indie dev team GameBond Studio, has unveiled a glimpse into their forthcoming cyberpunk 4X strategy game, Neural Dominion. This pre-alpha gameplay reveal introduces players to a unique setting: a gritty, crime-infested cyberpunk city that offers a fresh twist on the traditional 4X genre.

Key Features:

  • Cyberpunk City Setting: Dive into the shadows of a city teeming with intrigue, where each decision could lead to power or peril.
  • Crime and Corruption: Navigate through cyberpunk-specific criminal activities, forging alliances or sabotaging rivals.
  • Dynamic Combat Options: Engage in battles with a choice between traditional turn-based methods or the “Active Time” JRPG-inspired combat system to suit your strategy and style.

About the devs, GamesBond Studios is a new indie game developer out of Cairo, Egypt. Although Neural Dominion is their first title as a team, altogether they have 20+ years of experience in game development. For Neural Dominion they are taking inspiration from classic and modern titles like Civilization, Age of Wonders, Final Fantasy, Cyberpunk 2077 and more.

I was lucky enough to play the demo, and thoroughly enjoyed the environment and gameplay mechanics. In a market of cracking indies Neural Dominion is set to offer a distinctive experience for strategy enthusiasts and cyberpunk fans alike.

Neural Dominion will be releasing to early access late 2024 or early 2025 to PC on Steam and GOG.
