While Frostpunk 2 may have gotten a slight delay to add some more polish to the game, the new special edition announced sure looks to be worth the wait.

Today 11 Bit Studios and Skybound Games announced a special edition of the upcoming Frostpunk 2. The special edition is exclusive to Skybound’s Online Store and will ship globally at a price of $99.99. The special edition is available now for pre-order ahead of the games PC launch on September 20th. Packed full of goodies this is definitely an edition worth grabbing for collectors. It should be noted that there is no disc in the edition and it is a steam code.

The Frostpunk 2 PC Special Edition includes: 

• “Deluxe” Edition: Includes Steam key for base game, 3 post-release DLCs, exclusive in-game item, “Warm Flesh” novella, and a digital artbook & soundtrack.

Speaking as a collector myself this is a gorgeous special edition and I can only hope when the game comes to console we get something similar (though with a disc please!).
