It’s official, Avowed, the upcoming RPG from Obsidian, has been delayed into February 2025.
Making the announcement, late on a Friday (it’s like 11pm in the UK), Xbox took to social media to announce that the game was being pushed back to give our “backlogs some breathing room”.
So many games coming! As such, we're moving Avowed to Feb 18, 2025 to give players’ backlogs some breathing room.

The game will now release on Xbox Series consoles and PC on 18 February 2025. You can get a closer look at Avowed at Gamescom towards the end of August.
Personally, I’m ok with this, with a new IP, giving it some breathing room compared to the height of the winter releases is a smart move to get as many people playing it as possible. How are you feeling about this?
