Detective – Minerva Case is a classic whodunit murder mystery game and is the sequel to 2023’s Detective – Stella Porta Case.
The game begins in a cyberpunk rendition of 2068. Lupa Corps, a cutting-edge AI company, is poised to revolutionize the world with its latest creation, Minerva. You step into the role of a detective summoned to investigate a high-profile murder case.
Your task is to scour the crime scenes, meticulously collecting evidence and uncovering hidden clues. Interrogate witnesses to extract vital information. Once you’ve gathered all the clues at a location, you can retreat to your office to piece together your deductions.
Returning to your office, you’ll encounter your timeline board, a crucial tool for reconstructing the sequence of events and deciphering the evidence. Once you crack the case, you can progress to the next challenge. There are a total of six scenarios for you to navigate, each presenting its own unique puzzle to solve. And watch out for a surprise twist awaiting you at the end.
The game gives off a great dark and futuristic vibe. If your looking for a good, but short, point and click puzzle game this one could be for you. I certainly found my time with it to be enjoyable.
