So here we are, arguably one of (if not THE) biggest showcase of the weekend, with expectations high, did Xbox deliver the goods with its 2024 showing?
With reveals from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, Activision and many more, only you can be the judge, but I thought it was a bloody good showing!
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series)
An explosive look at the upcoming Call of Duty game’s campaign. The game has been announced to release on 25 October, with it coming Day One to Xbox and PC Game Pass.
Forced to go rogue. Hunted from within. The all-new campaign set in the Gulf War era. The multiplayer will feature 12 new 6v6 maps and 4 new strike maps at launch. It also sees the return of Round-based Zombies.
Phil spoke of an upcoming beta, as well as seasonal content drops.
DOOM: The Dark Ages (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
DOOM: The Dark Ages, the prequel to the critically acclaimed DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal, and the third instalment of the modern DOOM series. Developed by id Software on the latest idTech engine, DOOM: The Dark Ages is a single-player action FPS that tells the epic cinematic origin story of the DOOM Slayer’s rage. You are the DOOM Slayer, the legendary demon-killing warrior and the super weapon in this never-before-seen dark and sinister medieval war against Hell.
It is aiming to release in 2025 and will be on Game Pass, day one.
State of Decay 3 (PC, Xbox Series)
Set years after a zombie apocalypse nearly wiped out humankind, State of Decay 3 is the next evolution in the State of Decay franchise. As the zombie threat continues to claim lives, you must fight back and reclaim lost ground, carving out a life for your community of survivalist homesteaders.
It will be available day one on Game Pass, no release window was mentioned.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
When corrupt gods break free from centuries of darkness, the odds will be stacked against you. You can’t do this alone. Rally a team of seven companions, each with rich lives and deep backstories. These are characters to befriend, and even fall in love with. Among them, an assassin, a necromancer, and a detective will each bring their own expertise and unique abilities to the fight. You are never alone; decide who to take into battle and together face down demons, dragons and even ancient gods.
The game is expected to release this Fall.
Starfield: Shattered Space DLC (PC, Xbox Series)
Shattered Space is a new story expansion for Starfield, Bethesda Game Studios' epic role-playing game and first new universe in more than twenty-five years. A mysterious power stirs in the city of Dazra on House Va'ruun's hidden homeworld. Investigate a frightening cosmic threat, explore a new planet, and find unique weapons, spacesuits, and gear in this all-new adventure.
Shattered Space DLC is expected to release this year.
In addition, the trailer also revealed new content dropping right now (ish), including new Bounties, custom content, and new locations.
Fallout 76: Skyline Valley Update (PC, PlayStation, Xbox)
Expand southward to Skyline Valley - a brand-new region of Appalachia. Investigate the cause of the electric storm circling overhead and unveil the mystery around Vault 63 and its dwellers, including a shocking new Ghoul type - The Lost.
Skyline Valley will be available from 12 June.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
Lead the Expedition on a desperate adventure to destroy the Paintress before she erases the last survivors of humanity in the stunning new RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. The debut title from Sandfall Interactive will launch in 2025.
It will also launch day one on Game Pass.
South of Midnight (PC, Xbox Series)
South of Midnight is a new third person action-adventure from Compulsion Games. When a hurricane rips through Prospero, Hazel is pulled into a Southern Gothic world where reality and fantasy are interwoven, and ancient creatures from folklore emerge.
It aims to release in 2025 and is coming day one to Game Pass.
World of Warcraft: The War Within (PC)
Throughout the ages, mighty heroes have risen to defend Azeroth. Now, at the dawn of a new saga, the darkness calls from the very heart of the world.
The War Within expansion will launch on 26 August 2024.
Metal Gear Sold Delta: Snake Eater (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
The core experience of the original, evolved and more immersive than ever. A remake of the 2004 game METAL GEAR SOLID 3: SNAKE EATER. In addition to the original play style and control scheme, players can elect for a newly added, more modern control style. The same gripping story and engrossing world, but with all new graphics and 3D audio that enhance the jungle atmosphere.
Still no release date.
Sea of Thieves: Season 13 (PC, PS5, Xbox)

Get ready to embark on an epic journey with Flintlock, an explosive indie Souls-lite from the creators of Ashen, launching 18 July.
It is coming to Game Pass day one.
Age of Mythology: Retold (PC, Xbox)

Perfect Dark (PC, Xbox Series)

Great to see some gameplay, should expect we won’t see it for a while.
Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

Fable (PC, Xbox Series)

FragPunk (PC, Xbox Series)
FragPunk is a fast-paced 5v5 hero shooter with power-up cards that change the rules of combat! Choose your hero, tweak your weapon loadout, and pick from a selection of cards that change every round to gain the upper hand against your opponents!
It’s expected to release in 2025.
Winter Burrow (PC, Xbox Series)
We follow the little mouse as they tell their story of arriving to a broken-down childhood home and a harsh winter woodland where they need to find the courage to survive and make the tree stump home a cozy home again, while they look for their lost Aunt who they find in the end only to have them taken by an Owl.
It will release day one on Game Pass.
Mixtape (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
Mixtape is coming day one with Game Pass in 2025. On their last night of high school, three friends embark on one more adventure together. Play through a mixtape of memories, set to the soundtrack of a generation.
En route to their final party together, a perfectly-curated playlist draws them into dreamlike reenactments of their formative memories. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (PC, Xbox Series)

Life is Strange: Double Exposure (Nintendo Switch, PC, PS5 Xbox Series)

WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

A nuclear disaster has left an area of Britain in tatters. Atomfall, a new survival-action game, will see you explore, scavenge, craft, barter and fight your way through beautifully recreated scenery in search of answers.
A single player, survival-action game, Atomfall blends post-war Britain with Cold War paranoia, folk horror, and elements of classic British sci-fi like Day of the Triffids, Doctor Who and The Prisoner, to create an immersive and thrilling gameplay experience.
It will launch in 2025.
Assassin’s Creed: Shadows (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
A 13 minute gameplay walkthrough will be shown at tomorrow’s Ubisoft Forward.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chernobyl (PC, Xbox Series)
