The Guerrilla Collective 2024 livestream has just concluded, and it has brought two hours of reveals, announcements, and announcements from some of the biggest and best indie titles heading our way.
If you’ve been a reader since we got going, or if you checked out our recently started Gamer Social Club Podcast, you’ll know that we love our indies here. So two hours of them, sound pretty damn good!

Wrekless (PC)
Skate, build, and share with this Tony Hawk’s style skateboaridng game with what looks to be fully customisable map building that you can then share and play together online with your friends. No release date as yet, except to say it is coming “this fall”.
Yooka Replaylee (PC and consoles – specific consoles not revealed)
Yooka-Laylee is back in a new and improved version, Yooka-Replaylee, coming to PC and consoles.
Featuring new visuals, improved camera and controls, an updated orchestral score, and brand new content, this is set to be the best version of Playtonic’s iconic collectathon platformer. If you played the spiritual successor to the glorios Banjo-Kazooie games, you know you’re in for a good time.
Deathbound (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
Trial Forge Studio from Brazil are bringing a ‘party-based Soulslike’ game to PC and consoles, where you have seven souls of fallen warriors inhabiting the same body. Deathbound lets you switch between these different souls, and their abilities to switch up your combat tactics. Looks like a lot of fun, particularly the Capoeira dance fighter! No release date as yet, just coming soon.
Volgar The Viking II (Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series)
Volgar the Viking returns in the sequel to the 2013 side-scrolling 2D platformer. Prepare to see Volgar die, die, and die again. The game releases on 6 August 2024.
Knights in Tight Spaces (PC)
Tactical turn-based, medieval action comes at you in Knights in Tight Spaces. Great name, love the art style, can’t wait to play this interesting looking game.
Neon Blood (Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series)
This looks really cool, a super interesting blend of pixel art and hand drawn looking art in a cyberpunk-noir world. Coming Q4 2024.
Steamworld Heist 2 (Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series)
Seek out vital water resource across the Great Oceanic Shard in this turn-based pirating adventure, announced last month. Think Worms with steam powered pirate robots. The game releases 8 August 2024.
Kiborg (PC)
Become more powerful, and weaponise your body by harvesting implants and upgrading in this melee, shooter combat brawler.
Disco Samurai (PC)
This isometric disco-brawler looks like a lot of fun as you take on some of the ‘greatest criminals’ and root out a conspiracy, with a funky-ass looking disco sword. A demo will be available on Steam on 10 June.
Killing Time Resurrected (Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series)
The ‘classic FPS’ returns in HD, and it looks delightfully insane. A whole load of nightmarish characters are ready to be mowed down on PC and consoles soon.
Tomba Special Edition (Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5)
Pig-bashin, 2.5D question is back (apparently). Tonba returns in this special edition remaster where you can switch between original and remastered graphics. Releasing 1 August.
Project Tides (PC)
A brand new ‘truly expressive 3D platformer, set in a massive open world sees you taking on a Zelda-reminiscent enemy.
Airborne Empire, Ascendant.com, Primal Planet, Project Haven were all briefly shown in a montage at around the 52 minute mark if you head to the livestream link.
Final Knight (Nintendo Switch, PC)
Very cool looking pixel art 2D brawler game with some cool looking action-RPG elements.
Ninja Slayer: Neon-Saitama in Flames (PC)
I…erm, there’s combat! Looks mad, but I don’t know what else to say! Watch the trailer.
Light Odyssey (PC)
This game looks great, reminds me of Limbo, Inside, and Death’s Door.
Fallen Aces (PC)
1920s, cel-shaded FPS with stealth mechanics and super-fun looking fight sequences (with a noir filter)? Fancy punching a shark, you can! Hellz yeah!
Evil V Evil (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
Evil V Evil is a fast-paced first-person vampire shooter that rewards you for mowing through hordes of enemies without remorse. The game features a cast of badass vampires, each with powerful abilities and a heavy dose of attitude. Shoot your way through their story as you uncover the plans of the evil Zagreus and his devoted cultists. It releases 16 July 2024.
Anton Blast (Nintendo Switch, PC)
Coming 12 November 2024. It looks awesome! Love the tone of this, and the retro 90s platformer feel too. There’s a demo available now.
Wizard of Legend II (PC)
Wield powerful Arcana, build your loadout and destroy your enemies in this upcoming rogue-lite.
Clock Tower Rewind (Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series)
Translated and released outside of Japan for the first time, Clock Tower: Rewind is a revival of the terror-inducing 16-bit classic that dares you to explore the haunting confines of the Barrows family manor. As teenage orphan Jennifer, you must search every disturbing corner to find items, reveal secrets, and discover ways to evade Scissorman, a murderous, unstoppable, shears-wielding psychopath. Play original mode to experience Clock Tower as it was when initially released in 1995, or play enhanced mode with extra content and improvements.
Five Nights at Freddy’s Into the Pit (Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series)
A 2D, incredibly creepy iteration of the survival horror series. Looks horrendous (in a good way).
Hollow Body (PC)
Another survival horror but with a tech-noir vibe to it, exploring a long abandoned British city. Has a whole load of Silent Hill vibes.
Demonschool (Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation and Xbox)
In Demonschool, defeat big sinister weirdos in between the human and demon worlds as Faye and her misfit companions, while navigating university life on a mysterious island. Coming 2024.
Projektz Beyond Order (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
These Nazi zombies are creepy as. Looks great!
The Transylvania Adventure of Simon Quest (Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series)
Well this looks great, despite it’s random ass name. A proper 90s looking 2D platforms with an epic chuggy metal soundtrack \m/. Coming in 2025, the trailer below isn’t from today’s showcase, but it is currently AWOL on the ol’ YouTube.
Urban Myth Dissolution Center (PC)
New trailer for this upcoming visual novel, releasing in 2024.
Cozy Dungeons Inc. (PC)
Turn your dungeons into a B&B. Complete a dungeon and then renovate it to turn a tidy profit.
Double Shake (Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5)
Grab, shake, throw, and kick to save your islands from total chaos in this 2.5D platformer.
The Land of the Magnates (PC)
A demo is available now for this upcoming action adventure game.
Creatures of Ava (PC, Xbox Series)
Let your empathy guide you as you play an exciting action-adventure, creature-saver game. Understand and tame the creatures of Ava and let them lead you through a variety of ecosystems _ all in the hopes of saving the planet from a life-consuming infection. A demo will available on PC on 10 June. It will also be available on Game Pass when it releases later in the year.
Egging On (PC)
Take control of a physics based egg in this climbing game, watch out for pretty much everything as you try to survive. Take your egg to new heights, no yolk.

Day of the Shell (PC)
In Day of the Shell, play as a monster hunter, traveling from island to island to defeat the god of the seas in this tactical rogue-lite.
Cataclismo (PC)
Defend the last bastion of humanity in a ruined world, building fortresses brick by brick to fend off waves of Horrors. Withstand the siege and rise above the haze in a story of hope, resilience, and community. The game releases on 16 July 2024.
Grit and Valor 1949 (Nintendo Switch, PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
The trailer gives us a peek into the story of Grit and Valor – 1949’s alternative WW2 history, where you will lead the brave resistance against the might of the brutal Axis powers in this tactical rogue-lite. We also get a breakdown of gameplay, including your objective, how choosing your paths and field upgrades are critical to success, mech upgrades, and more. Coming in 2025.
Kriegsfront Tactics: Prologue (PC)
Set in the alternate 1970s during an era of conflict in Southeast Asia, you’ll play as a commander of a mecha squad sent behind enemy lines. Manage your squad, resources, and mechs. Complete missions, and survive the front another day, while facing hard decisions that will test your morality.
Starminer (PC)
In Starminer you design and build an interstellar mining fleet to strip space of its invaluable minerals, and sell them for a tidy profit. But beware. Your greed may attract unwanted attention. Echo Generation: Midnight Edition (Nintendo Switch, PC)

Grifford Academy (PC)
Grifford Academy is a story-rich, coming-of-age RPG set in a mystical book realm where your decisions shape the personalities of the characters. Engage in strategic turn-based combat as you set out to discover the secrets of Caldria. A demo is available now on Steam.
Bloodless (PC)
Bloodless features aggressive, non-lethal combat centered around ronin Tomoe’s signature dash-counter mechanic, fighting with nothing but her bare fists to disarm her former allies, the samurai army of Shogun Akechi. Bloodless releases on 29 August 2024, with a demo releasing on 10 June.
Toxic Crusaders (Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series)
The hottest heroes of 1991 return for a radical, radioactive romp for a new era, featuring awesome action, crushing combos, and more toxic waste than you’ll know what to do with! Developer and publisher Retroware has teamed up with Troma Entertainment to bring the Toxic Crusaders back, for an all-new, all-action beat ’em up for one to four players. Grab your mop, tutu, and attitude, and get ready to clean up the mean streets of Tromaville, one radioactive goon at a time.
Devilated (PC)

Iron Meat (Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series)
Iron Meat is a run-and-gun arcade shooter (like Metal Slug) that immerses players in an apocalyptic future overrun by “The Meat,” an iron-ravenous mass mutating everything in its path. Blast your way through retro-inspired stages and bosses to uncover the shocking horrors behind secret experiments on the Moon. It aims to release late 2024.
Beyond the Ice Palace II (Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series)

Renaine is a cute n’ colorful game featuring weird characters, smooth as butter combat, amazing music, and Chompy petting.
Immortal Hunters (PC)

Pinball Spire (PC)

Chainstaff (PC)
ChainStaff is a brutal action platformer with a transforming grappling hook and blazing weapon upgrades. To save Earth from the Star Spores, you’ll have to swing, shoot, and spear your way through hordes of mutating monsters and bone-shaking boss fights.

Looks like a lot of fun, reminded me of Carrion.
Constance (Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation and Xbox)
See the gorgeous but dangerous world of Constance in this new gameplay trailer for the upcoming 2D hand-drawn action-adventure game. Constance features a paintbrush-wielding artist, striving to escape from a colorful but decaying inner world, created by her declining mental health. Constance is releasing in late 2025.
Somber Echoes (PC)
Take the role of the resurrected Adrestia and embark on an epic journey to prevent your twin sister from unraveling the universe. Master acrobatic combat, explore the Greco-Roman space vessel Atromitos, and shape your destiny in Somber Echoes.
