Some more news coming out of the ID@Xbox Showcase today has revealed a release date for upcoming Zelda-inspired game ‘Dungeons of Hinterberg’.

Announced in a new trailer, it was revealed that the role-playing adventure game will be releasing on Xbox Series consoles and Microsoft Windows on 18 July 2024.

Curve Games and Microbird are thrilled to announce that Dungeons of Hinterberg, a single-player mix of Action-RPG and social sim set in the Austrian Alps, will be released on Steam, Xbox Series X|S, Windows 10/11 PC, and with Xbox Game Pass for console, PC, and cloud on July 18 2024. 

Dungeons of Hinterberg blends hack ‘n’ slash action, puzzle solving and social elements, allowing players to battle monstrous creatures from Alpine myths, explore dungeons, and forge friendships. To celebrate the date announcement, the small team at Microbird is excited to open sign-ups for the playtest and give fans a chance to play the first two in-game days for the very first time!

Sign-ups are now open via the official Steam product page, and the playtest will run from the 9 – 16 of May. Players will get to experience Hinterberg in all its glory, heading out for some training before exploring the mountains and eponymous dungeons. So sit back, relax, and enjoy your Slaycation!
